Hi my name is Joshua Coates and I love bicycles and motorized bicycles. I am a 29 year old bicycle mechanic with a head full of ideas and a love for adventure. My mom and sisters moved here to Tucson, AZ in 1991; we drove here in a Datsan from Pennsylvania! I have been here since and love the sunny weather and the smell of orange blossoms in the spring. My wife Taryn, a tattoo artist, and our beautiful daughter Trinity are the sunshine in my life. Trinity, 4 years old, helps me build, test and conjure up new ideas for future projects. Her crayons are magical and full of innovation!

Lowering our carbon footprint is key to saving our planet. My transporters and electric hybrids are exactly what our world needs. I like the motorized bicycle for commuting to work or to the grocery store for light loads such as a last minute dinner idea. Plus, my bikes are great conversation starters!

Live long and prosper,

Joshua Coates, Owner

Riders on motorized bikes apexed around corners, drafted on the straights and simply put, screamed around the track during Saturday's Death Race 2009.
This was the fifth annual Death Race where an estimated 30 members of the motorized bicycle culture meet in Tucson from all over the Southwest.
But this was the first year the "Outlaw Desert Event" has been held at the P1 Kart Circuit, 11800 S. Harrison Road.
